When my friend woke up with strep throat on our road trip, we had to quickly pivot our plans for the day. She needed to eat something and we thought ice cream might be easiest to eat so I quickly yelped to find a spot and this one popped up. We picked up a couple of milkshakes and I was impressed with their selection of flavors. I have a hard time finding cherry shakes and always get excited whenever I come across one.
It is the 1st of March, and Mr G's is officially open for the season! We decided to go about 20 minutes before closing, and the line of vehicles for the drive-thru was still backed up to Hill Ave. Yes, we are part of the cult following of Mr G's. What else would you call it? It's barely 40 degrees outside, and we are patiently waiting to order ice cream. Love it!
Finally stopped into this barn after driving by many times. Staff was helpful in identifying various soft serve options. Serving sizes are large. Ice cream is thicker soft serve.
Wow. Wow. Wow! This place gets PACKED and the lines get super long! But let me tell you the ice cream is pretty delicious. I got a build your own Sunday in a size small and wow they really top the toppings on heavy which is okay by me! The staff is really nice and the line moves pretty quick. Great spot for a sweet tooth fix!
It's time to give Mr. G's a review. My friend and I go there every week for our sweet treat. It hits the spot everytime especially the pumpkin flavor. Great price for delicious soft serve.
